Production Supervisor
Full-Time
Hardyston, NJ (100% Onsite)
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Salary: $65,000-$70,000
We are seeking a hands-on, Manufacturing Production Supervisor with strong mechanical aptitude and advanced Excel/data reporting skills to oversee daily operations for a woman-owned manufacturing company. This role combines floor leadership with data-driven decision-making to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This is a salaried position averaging 40 hours per week. Flexibility is required, and some weeks may involve more or fewer hours depending on workload, staffing and business needs.
What the Production Supervisor is responsible for:
- Lead and coordinate daily/weekly production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet output goals.
- Monitor production lines and processes, troubleshoot issues, enforce quality standards, and drive corrective actions.
- Collect, analyze, and report production data; track KPIs using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).
- Supervise and motivate operators, leads, and support staff; coordinate shift coverage and ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Train staff on safety, maintain OSHA logs, and enforce safety and compliance protocols.
- Partner with operators, maintenance, shipping, and packaging teams to optimize workflow.
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including product testing and process enhancements.
- Work directly with the VP of Operations on strategic initiatives and serve as acting lead when senior leadership is unavailable.
- Communicate effectively with bilingual staff (Spanish/English) for training, instructions, and translation as needed.
- Operate in a workshop environment with dust, machine noise, and protective equipment provided.
What experience we are looking for:
- HS diploma or GED equivalent required
- 2+ years of proven supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing
- Direct knowledge of production in manufacturing settings (ideally in adhesives, coatings, printing, or similar)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to understand and improve processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, reporting).
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems a plus (or willingness to learn).
- Experience in process control, quality management, and KPI tracking.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement preferred.
- Sit-down forklift certification (or willingness to become certified)
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus (not required).
Operations & Office Coordinator
Full-Time
Hardyston, NJ (100% Onsite)
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Rate of Pay: $24.04-$26.44/hr
We are seeking an organized and proactive Operations & Office Coordinator for a small woman-owned manufacturer. This person will support operations, sales, logistics, HR, and general administration. As the company grows, this role may evolve to include quoting or other sales/operations functions.
What the Operations & Office Coordinator is responsible for:
- Maintain and update spreadsheets in Excel (data entry, formulas, interlinked sheets)
- Coordinate shipments: obtain freight/LTL rates, prepare paperwork, coordinate logistics (mostly domestic, occasional international)
- Order raw materials and supplies; receive and verify incoming materials against POs and packing lists
- Match goods received to invoices; ensure proper documentation
- Provide administrative support of new hire paperwork and onboarding tasks
- Inventory management: enter inventory in Excel, adjust usage based on actual consumption
- General support for sales & operations: field calls, ship samples, perform administrative tasks
- Assist with payables: match paperwork, track vendor invoices
- Assist with receivables and basic billing administration
- Filing, scheduling (including some personal-appointment coordination for leadership), receptionist duties
- Use of Excel and occasional data entry into QuickBooks or other systems
- Provide support to other staff as needed
What experience we are looking for:
- HS diploma or GED equivalent required
- Prior office/administrative experience; strong computer literacy
- Experience working in manufacturing or production settings is highly preferred (familiarity with terminology, flow of materials)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel: data entry, formulas, linking sheets
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to changing demands
- Excellent communication skills (phone, in person)
- Strong attention to detail and paperwork/documentation accuracy
- Ability to deduce logically and draw conclusions
- Must be able to follow written instructions and work independently
- Comfortable working onsite in a small manufacturing environment
- Willingness to grow into additional responsibilities
