We recently held our 2nd Annual Employee Appreciation Family Picnic, a tradition that was started as part of our ongoing efforts to continually improve workplace culture and employee morale.
Some highlights of this year’s picnic included:
Game On: Fun and Friendly Competitions!
Giant Connect 4 – new team member Jacob dethroned the reigning Connect 4 champion Susan
Giant Jenga – John was defeated in a nail biting match up against his step-daughter
Cornhole – our two newest team members, Jacon and Leah, were so competitive with their bean bags we could barely pull them away to visit the ice cream truck!
Can Jam – Andrew and Martir made throwing a frisbee into a slot look way easier than it actually is
Grilling Up Good Times and Sweet Treats!
Andrew manned the grill on a very hot summer day to serve up lots of hot dogs and hamburgers
We held our first ever “Web-Cote themed” dessert contest! We only had 2 entries for the inaugural event, but clever they were indeed! The first contestant entered homemade cupcakes decorated as various traps we make – shout out to the customers and products represented via cupcake form – Cahaba Snake Traps, Envirolights Mfg. flylight glueboards, Arbico Organics yellow cards, and the millions of green dots that were leftover from a recent run of Delta Traps for the USDA! The other entry was rolls of paperboard and mouse glueboards (clearly made with our old glue heads LOL), which were represented by powdered donuts and maple glazed Pop-Tarts! Alyssa was our winner with her creative cupcakes!
Cool Treats on a Hot Day
Finally, the Ice Cream Truck came for a visit! It’s always fun to be a kid again and choose your treat from the side of a truck. Memories of childhood abounded!
